Security of incident information

SAFEX recognises the litigious environment within which its Members operate. This makes it necessary to protect any legal exposure Members may have in the incident information they provided. Therefore, SAFEX places a premium on security of such information and access to it is strictly controlled.

Incident Notices

New incident reports (Incident Notices) are distributed by email to members of the SAFEX Community only (Members, Associates and Expert Panel members).

Investigation Reports

Investigation Reports are intended for SAFEX Members only. They may contain information which is confidential and privileged.  Forwarding, copying or dissemination of Investigation Reports to recipients outside a current SAFEX Member company is unauthorized. Any unauthorised use or disclosure of the information in Investigation Reports is unlawful.

Incident Database

Only Members may have access to the Database because of the Investigation Reports and other sensitive information it contains.
